La recette pour Beignets à l'Ananas et au Gingembre
8 tranches d'ananas (frais de préférence)
10g de gingembre frais, râpé
200g de farine
3 oeufs
1 blanc d'œuf
lait 300ml
25g de sucre
huile pour la friture
sucre glace pour saupoudrer
Tamiser la farine dans un bol. Former un puits au centre et ajouter le gingembre, le sucre, les œufs entiers et le lait. Mélanger jusqu'à consistance lisse puis réglez la pâte de côté pendant 30 minutes. Passé ce délai, battre le blanc d'oeuf dans un bol propre et sec jusqu'à raide puis incorporer délicatement à la pâte. Faire chauffer la friteuse ou ajouter de l'huile à un wok ou une casserole profonde. Quand l'huile est chaude, trempez les tranches d'ananas dans la pâte pour bien enrober. Abandonner immédiatement dans l'huile chaude et faire frire pendant environ 5 minutes ou jusqu'à ce que doré et chaud. Retirer de l'huile et égoutter sur du papier absorbant. Saupoudrer de sucre glace et servir chaud.

8 slices of pineapple (fresh is best)
10g fresh ginger, grated
200g plain flour
3 eggs
1 egg white
300ml milk
25g sugar
oil for deep frying
icing sugar for dusting
Sift the flour into a bowl. Form a well in the centre and add the ginger, sugar, whole eggs and milk. Mix until smooth then set the batter aside for 30 minutes. After this time beat the egg white in a clean and dry bowl until stiff then gently fold into the batter. Heat your deep fryer or add oil to a wok or deep pan. When the oil is hot, dip the pineapple slices into the batter to coat. Immediately drop into the hot oil and fry for about 5 minutes or until golden brown and heated through. Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve warm.
